About Us Ted and I founded ChelTed Gallery, Inc. in 1996 after fulfilling our long time dream of living in coastal Maine. (ChelTed is a combination of our nicknames - Chel & Ted.) Having both worked in New Jersey as software engineers,  we yearned for a small town atmosphere that allowed us to unleash our creativity. We stumbled upon our current location in Rockport and immediately fell in love with the area. The artistic community that resides here fuels our passion for trying out new ideas and technologies.               History Initially we started out as a fine art gallery, graphic design studio and custom frame shop. Our love of art and computers led us to large format printing and giclée publishing.  Never ones to miss a chance to experiment, we started printing on different materials that led to textile printing and sublimation. Today, we offer an array of services and have grown into a design studio, fine art publishing company and retail store. Future Plans As technology continues to evolve so do we. We have added several new services and are renovating workshop space that will be fueled by renewable energy. Our future depends on safeguarding our environment. Hope you enjoy our site.
